25 years of the Pomegranate Guild
This collage, picturing the 25 years of the Pomegranate Guild, is in five panels, each panel (36"X36") representing five years in the history of the Guild. The cohesive link joining one panel to the next is the pomegranate, the symbol of the Pomegranate Guild of Judaic Textiles. The first panel contains one pomegranate, the second two, and so forth.
The pictures contained in the collage are from the archives of the Pomegranate Guild. David Nativ composed these visually balanced panels using a long process of filtering, scanning and selection. Printed on textiles, the collage represents a remarkable history of the Pomegranate Guild, featuring the Guild’s projects and exhibits, members’ photos and their’s projects, and “show and share” meetings. |
